Thanksgiving is about gratitude. Gratitude for all that we have and thankfulness for everything we hold dear. But it can sometimes be difficult to remember why we are thankful.
You may be holding on to a memory of a loved one passing around this time of year. You may be isolated and sad that you cannot safely visit family this year. There are numerous reasons that the holidays might feel a little different this year. 2020 has been crazy! But, I just wanted to pop in to say thank you. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. Thank you for leaving comments and supporting myself and others on the platform. Thank you for reaching out on socials and in person. Thank you for being there for others! We may not be celebrating in person this year. But if I have gathered anything from 2020, I have learned that on-line platforms can do just as much good as they do harm. On-line support groups and forums are a fantastic way to stay connected when life throws its worst at you! And this year I am grateful that we have stayed connected to family and friends in a way that makes us all feel just slightly more normal in a year that has made most of us feel so discombobulated. Feeling especially grateful for hope and love, Danielle
