With a nice sized menu, and an obvious Rock-n-Roll vibe, visitors are sure to enjoy both the edible offerings and the laid-back vibe. If your travels happen to place you at the junction of Highway 6 and 105, make sure to stop off at the nearby coffee house located at 129 E Washington Ave., Navasota, Texas, 77868. For amidst antique shops and small boutiques, the Class Rock Coffee Co. serves up delightful treats and tasty beverages. To attest to the fine offerings, posted signs proudly claim Classic Rock Coffee Company's most recent accomplishments. Awards for The Examiner's 2017 "Best Business Lunch" and "Best Cup of Coffee" both mark the company's success. Check out their menu here and their select coffees here. I recommend their seasonal Smashing Pumpkin Spiced Latte, which is served piping hot with delicious froth. Pair this with the brilliant Avocado Toast, complete with avocado spread, diced tomatoes, and feta cheese, for a meal to love - I doubt you will go hungry as the portion size is quite decent. As you enter the establishment, friendly staff is waiting to serve. If you are a newcomer, baristas gladly answer menu questions with both patience and a smile. And, if "fickle" is your name, don't worry! Staff happily accommodates order changes. Once an order is placed, you will find a variety of cozy places to sit. For those that fancy watching patrons pass by, enjoy sitting at the bar by the window with a clear view to City Hall. To revel in the interior, plop yourself down on one of the comfy couches across tributes to Elvis, Styx, Pink Floyd, and more. There is even a small conference-type room, if seclusion is what you most desire, for all of those study groups and business calls. When you need a break from all that work, have fun playing a board game or two; Tic-Tac-Toe, Checkers, and Yahtzee were just a few of the entertainment options provided by the establishment. Or, you can mosey into the back quarters to peruse vinyl records, cd's, old tapes, guitars, and ukuleles for sale. The boredom remedies are plenty.
