Some of the best spots to vacation are those that we happen to find unexpectedly; hence, how we discovered Gaido's Seaside Inn during our Galveston rendezvous. This year, for my birthday, my family and I decided to visit Galveston, Texas for a somewhat spontaneous beach day (see the full story here). There was a little debacle at our original hotel, The Commodore (see my revealing review here), so we ended up going across the street to another place called Gaido's Seaside Inn. Boy, did we luck out by finding that one! Flustered by our experience with The Commodore staff, we arrived at the inn more than a little dismayed. However, in a complete turnaround, the inn's staff greeted us with apologetic empathy and helped us book a new room. And, as it turns out, we enjoyed the inn incredibly. ...Besides all that, the staff is particularly pleasant and greets customers with smiles, friendliness, and respect. In fact, their overall attention to both good customer service and the little details made our stay one of the best I can remember. So head on over and check out Gaido's Seaside Inn for a new adventure, good eats, and plenty of luxury.
