One of my favorite mugs (shown above) quite beautifully epitomizes how I feel each morning. My Dog is a morning person, and I am not.
Meet my dog, aka. furry child, Blizzard.
Blizzard is a Bichon Frise who enjoys long walks and playing with his favorite toy: a floppy, green dinosaur. He may be thirteen years old, but his friends like to describe him as a puppy at heart as he is usually running around like a crazy person. He especially likes to ignore the house rules and step on top of anything that is in his path including computers, well organized papers, and body parts; in fact, one of his favorite activities is waking people up!
Blizzard has truly perfected this art of rousing people before their alarm sounds, and he is diligent in various methods. Whining, barking, laying on peoples’ heads, and jumping around the bed, in anxious excitement, are all useful tactics. However, Blizzard’s humans rarely qualify as receptive to this daily morning ritual.
In the event of a very early morning, grumpiness serves as a common side effect of waking in this manner, hence the favored cup. In these moments, coffee is especially appreciated so that Blizzard may live to grace another day with his lovable antics.
Sincerely grumpy, Blizzard’s Human

Hehe, thank you! I adore him. My friend, Christina Kong, is a groomer and she did his haircut.
